The programme of activities for Passion for Knowledge 2019 also includes an international summer school targeted at the scientific community particularly at PhD students and young postgraduate researchers. It will take place from 30 September to 4 October.

Dynapeutics, as the school is called, will focus on the theory and applications of different computational methods for studying and simulating biomolecules in biological environments, which are relevant for the design and optimisation of molecular drugs, as well as to our understanding of biological processes at a molecular level.

The summer school consists of two different sessions: theoretical classes held at the Material Physics Centre (CFM, a mixed CSIC-UPV/EHU centre) in the morning, and practical classes with computers in the Ignacio María Barriola building at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), first thing in the afternoon.

The summer school is organised and led by the following group of researchers: Eider San Sebastian, Xabier Lopez, David de Sancho, Elixabete Rezabal, Elena Formoso, Rafael Grande-Aztatzi and Jose M. Mercero.
