Purpose

- To inform of future activities of the scientific outreach programme that we develop aimed at the general public.
- Administrative, accounting and tax management, if applicable.
In the case of candidates applying for DIPC job offers:
- To assess their suitability for the position, as well as proceeding to notifying them about employment opportunities.
Storage
Data storage periods and criteria:
In accordance with Section 5 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter, GDPR), personal data will be stored provided that there is a mutual interest to maintain the purpose of the processing and when they are no longer necessary for the said purpose, they will be deleted with adequate security measures to ensure that they are completely eliminated.
In the case of the personal data included in CVs, they will be stored for a period of two years after receipt thereof.
Legitimmacy
The legitimacy of our processing of your personal data is established in Section 6.1.a) of the GDPR, which allows us to process personal data once you give us your consent.
The data collected are adequate, relevant and not excessive regarding the specific, explicit and legitimate scope, purpose and services of the DIPC.
Recipients
During the processing period, DIPC will not transfer your data, unless legally obligated to do so, notwithstanding the provisions of the following paragraph.
The DIPC will use MailChimp to distribute information about the public scientific outreach programme and also disclose information to its technical secretariat to manage big science dissemination events. Rights
You can exercise your Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition (ARCO) rights regarding your personal data by sending an email to data-protection@dipc.org or a letter to Paseo Manuel de Lardizábal 4, 20018 Donostia-San Sebastián, in accordance with the terms established in the Data Protection Legislation. You also have the right to be Forgotten, right to Portability of data and Limitation of processing.
Furthermore, we inform you that you have the right to file a claim at the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you believe that the legislation on data protection has been breached regarding processing of you personal data.
